# RunAround

> Virtual running races in Townsville, North Queensland. Runners log in with Strava, GPS-match published Road or Trail courses, and appear on race-window and overall leaderboards.

RunAround is a free community site. Admins publish courses with a GPX file. Matching uses GPS coverage (and an optional Strava segment on older races). Emails go out when a runner gains a place, and when a race window closes.

Canonical race URLs are `/races/:id` (legacy segment ids still work as slugs). Private areas (`/admin`, `/me`, `/login`, `/onboarding`) are not for crawlers.
